Communication In Pre-technical Studies
Grade 7 Pretechnical Studies under the Kenyan CBC introduces learners to practical knowledge and skills that prepare them for everyday life, further technical education, and future careers. The subject focuses on three main areas: Technical Studies, Business Studies, and Computer Studies.
In Technical Studies, learners explore basic workshop practices, tools and equipment, materials, safety, drawing, simple construction, electricity, and technology in everyday life. They develop practical skills through activities such as measuring, designing, making, and maintaining simple products.
